🚴‍♂️ Congratulations to our General Manager, Simon Pietrzyk, on completing one of the toughest challenges of his life in support of Macmillan Cancer Support.

Over the weekend, Simon tackled an epic 138-mile ride through the Welsh mountains, conquering an incredible 12,000ft of climbing and crossing the finish line after 13 hours and 42 minutes in the saddle.

In Simon's own words, he "completely underestimated how epic the event would be." Faced with relentless climbs, exhaustion, and moments where he had to dig deeper than ever before, he showed remarkable determination to keep going. From battling up Black Mountain to tackling the infamous Devil's Elbow, every mile was a true test of both physical endurance and mental resilience.

Simon credits the incredible support he received along the route for helping him reach the finish. A special mention goes to the family handing out water on Black Mountain, whose kindness became a lifeline when it was needed most.

While this challenge pushed Simon to his limits, he never lost sight of why he was doing it. The ride was in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support, an organisation that provides vital support to people and families facing cancer every day.

As Simon reflected after the event:
"This truly was a test of mental and physical strength. But nothing compared to those who are suffering with cancer, so it was for a worthy cause."

We're incredibly proud of Simon's achievement, determination, and commitment to supporting such an important cause.
