We talk a lot about the work we do on sites. But this is about what we do beyond that.

We support Emmaus Leicestershire and Rutland, a charity that helps people out of homelessness. We've collected items for their Emporium charity shop to help fund the services that give people a route back to stability.

We also support Midlands Air Ambulance, a charity that runs entirely on donations and responds to some of the most serious emergencies across the region. Our MD ran the Great North Run last year to raise money for Sue Ryder. And we've just sponsored the Market Bosworth Rails and Ales Festival for the third year running.

None of this is for show. We work in these communities every day and giving something back is just part of how we operate.

Autumn is on its way!

You might not have needed the heating for a few months but it won't be long before you do. If your boiler hasn't been serviced in the last 12 months, now is a good time to get it booked in before the cold snap hits and everyone else has the same idea.

We were proud to sponsor the Market Bosworth Rails and Ales Festival again this year, our third year behind the event.

Held from the 24th to 26th July at the Battlefield Line Railway, it brought the local community together for a weekend of heritage rail, live entertainment and a solid line up of more than 60 real ales and 20 ciders.

Supporting events like this matters to us. We work across Hinckley, Leicester and the wider region every day, and putting something back into the communities we work in is part of how we operate.

Well done to the organisers, the volunteers, The Battlefield Line Railway team and Hinckley and Bosworth Camra (Campaign for Real Ale) for another brilliant weekend.

We're already looking forward to next year!

Banging, gurgling, a pilot light that keeps going out. These are usually signs something isn't right. Catching it early nearly always means a cheaper fix than leaving it until it stops working altogether.

The HPHS team swapped the workplace for the racetrack and brought plenty of speed, laughs, and seriously competitive driving!

Some proper overtakes and some racing lines that will not be making it into any coaching manual. A few of the lads are now quietly waiting for Formula 1 to ring.

A huge thanks to the overall winner Alex “The Newell Express” and Paul “Calverstappen” for leading the charge and helping make it such a brilliant day out and to Sutton Circuit for being fantastic hosts and providing a great venue for an unforgettable day.
