Kooltech supplied the complete Mitsubishi Electric equipment package for the decarbonisation of Chancery Place, a 14-storey NFU Mutual office building in the heart of Manchester.

The project saw the removal of an ageing 1.5MW rooftop chiller and three 200kW gas boilers, replaced with a Mitsubishi Electric VRF heat recovery system:
25 PURY-P YNW outdoor units,
174 PEFY-M ducted indoor units,
6 PUZ-ZM condensing units serving upgraded fresh air ventilation.

Key highlights:
🔧 Every CMB-M BC Controller was factory-fitted with K-Con KS-8 Port Isolation Valves at our Glasgow production facility, pressure tested and certified before delivery for maximum quality assurance

🌡️ Individual tenant sub-metering via the AE-400 central controller, so occupiers pay for actual energy use rather than a pro-rata floor area charge

🏗️ Delivered by AD Environmental with up to 20 engineers on site at peak, working flexibly around a partially occupied building in a constrained city centre location

♻️ Supports the end users decarbonisation strategy through the complete removal of gas-fired heating

As a Mitsubishi Electric Business Solutions Partner, AD Environmental was also able to offer a seven-year warranty, backed by an ongoing service and maintenance agreement with CBRE.

The final stop of the Kooltech CITY MULTI Roadshow concluded on a high at Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh. The level of engagement throughout the roadshow series has shown us the market's appetite to understand where the industry is heading and how new technologies can support future projects.

The YXM Roadshows have been a tremendous success from start to finish. Thank you to everyone who came along. It has been particularly encouraging to see so many familiar faces alongside many new ones at each one.
