Another Wren kitchen installation completed 🔨🏡

For this project, the customer supplied their full Wren kitchen and materials, and our team took care of the installation.

A cracking transformation with those deep green shaker units, white worktops and classic metro tiles 👌

Already bought your kitchen from Wren, Howdens, B&Q, IKEA or another supplier? You don’t necessarily need to use their installation service.

We can take care of the installation and, where required, coordinate the joinery, plumbing, electrics, tiling and finishing work to get the whole project completed.

New project started today! 🔨🏠

Nothing like a few head scratches first thing on a Monday morning to get the week going 😂

This one definitely threw up a couple of challenges from the off, but thankfully Mark came in, worked his magic and saved the day. 👏

That’s what having an experienced team is all about. Problems will always pop up on projects, it’s how you deal with them that matters.

Good progress made today and we’re looking forward to seeing this one come together over the next few weeks. 👀

Does he get everything right? Absolutely not. But one thing you can never question is the effort, the intentions and the desire to keep moving forward.

Jamie genuinely wants the best for the business, the team and everyone around him. He’s always trying to push people on, help them improve and get the best out of themselves.

Some jobs mean a little more than others.

We recently stepped in to help construct the new metal base for a local weather station, but we didn’t realise just how much history was behind it.

The gentleman has been recording the weather in the Paisley area for an incredible 55 years without a break.

His original timber screen had been in service for 55 years, received 59 coats of paint, and was finally reaching the end of its life.

The new base we helped construct will support the Met Office’s latest state-of-the-art weather station and, most importantly, allow that remarkable record to continue.

His records are so significant that the Met Office archives in Exeter would like to preserve them when the time eventually comes, along with his 370-page book, “The Weather and Climate of the Paisley Area.”

When he asked how he could pay us, there was only one answer.

There’s no charge.

We’re just delighted our team could play a very small part in helping preserve 55 years of local history and keep that incredible record going.

A brilliant job by our joiner, and one we’re genuinely proud to have helped with.

📺 WE’RE (hopefully) GOING TO BE ON BBC ONE!

Some exciting news you’ve probably all NOT been waiting for… 😂

We can finally confirm that DIY SOS Glasgow will air on BBC One on Tuesday 22nd September at 8pm!

Even better, Glasgow will be the first episode of the brand-new series.

It’s been a long wait since we all came together for the build, but it’ll be brilliant to finally watch it back and relive the hard graft, long days and incredible effort that everyone put into making it happen.

Hopefully your favourite team makes it onto the TV! 👀😂

Just a small heads-up that the broadcast date can technically change, although we’ve been told this is very unlikely. If anything does change, we’ll let you know.

Tuesday 22nd September. 8pm. BBC One. 📺

Last week was honestly the week from hell. 😅

Staff sickness. People leaving. Jobs not going to plan. And it genuinely felt like everything we touched just wasn’t going right.

Running a business definitely isn’t always sunshine and rainbows, and last week was a reminder of that.

But… we go again. 💪

After a nice relaxing weekend, I’m feeling completely reset and ready for the week ahead.

We’ve got THREE new employees starting tomorrow, which is a massive step forward for the team.

I’ve also spent a good chunk of the weekend planning, preparing quotes, organising jobs and getting as much lined up as possible to give us the best chance of having a brilliant week.

You can’t control everything that gets thrown at you in business.

You can control how you respond to it.

Last week knocked us about a bit.

This week, we bounce back.

Can’t wait to get stuck into it. 🚀

One of the best parts of the job is that no two days are ever the same.

One minute we’re surveying a new kitchen, the next we’re installing a boiler, rewiring a home, or fitting a bathroom. Along the way, we’re lucky enough to take in some incredible views across Glasgow and the West of Scotland.

From rolling hills and lochs to stunning skylines and historic landmarks, it’s a reminder of how fortunate we are to work in such a beautiful part of the country.

Another kitchen transformation well underway! 👌

This customer has chosen a beautiful kitchen and flooring from Wren, and it’s all starting to come together.

The quartz worktops have now been templated, so we’re just waiting on the installation date. In the meantime, our team will keep the project moving by completing everything else we can, including getting the kitchen fully prepped and painted, so we’re ready to finish everything off as soon as the worktops arrive.

It’s all about keeping projects moving and making sure there’s no unnecessary downtime.

We can’t wait to show you the finished result. Stay tuned! 🏡
