Great to see ECA bringing the industry together for these important discussions. A skilled, supported workforce and practical standards will be vital to the successful delivery of the Warm Homes Plan. Repost of ECA's linked in post below...

brought together Members and other electrical contractors of different sizes in two Member forums, with representatives from the Government's Warm Homes Plan Workforce Taskforce (Taskforce). They discussed what good employment looks like and the practical issues that should shape future standards.

🌍 Kimble Solar at the Climate Party Conference 2026

We were delighted to attend the first-ever Climate Party Conference at the Brunel Shed in High Wycombe, where experts, businesses and campaigners came together to discuss the climate and nature crises—and the opportunities presented by the UK’s clean industrial future.

Our founder, Chris Sadler, also spoke to BBC News about the importance of listening to experts and scientists when discussing climate change:

“We don’t want to be hearing from politicians or people in the pub, but you want to hear from the scientists.”

It was a fascinating and thought-provoking event, with plenty of valuable conversations about renewable energy, sustainable construction and the practical action needed to build a cleaner future.
