A customer recently brought this 6.0-litre V12 twin-turbo high-performance Mercedes in with a coolant pump issue. Once we raised the vehicle, we noticed some extremely dangerous bulges in the sidewall of the front tyre.

The tyre had suffered a severe sidewall structure failure, most likely due to its age. It was nearly 10 years old.

We’ve never seen one quite this bad. Thankfully, we spotted it while the car was safely in our workshop and not when it was out on the road. 😱

A good reminder to regularly check your tyres for bulges, cracks and signs of ageing.

We recently had this Daimler Dart 2.5-litre V8 in for repairs after experiencing a misfire and poor starting.

Another busy day here at Autologic 🚙👨‍🔧
