Lot of seed sowing today. Sunflowers, marigolds, nasturtiums, cosmos and salads. Some of these flowers are going to be donated to the large garden area outside of my work that is ran by volunteers and the council.

Now is the time to sow peas to have a spring crop. Ive planted a couple of seeds per cell then i will thin ojt the weekest. Ive placed them in my greenhouse shelter.

Few more jobs jobbed. Made a barrier around where i will sow my carrot seeds in spring to protect them from carrot fly. Planted 3 types of tomato seeds witch have been placed on my widowsill for warmth. Planted pea seeds that are now in my greenhouse along with the potatoes i have chitted in and empty egg box. Refreshed the soil in my rasied bed ready to put some plants in when the weather gets warmer in spring. Ive highlighted the raised beds where i am going to grow brassicas as these plants need very high fertile soil. Ive added soil out of my compost bin as well as bought compost and a lot of it.
