The restoration continues. This time, the heavy machinery is in, carefully excavating the ground and creating the space needed to bring the duck pond back to life.

What was once an overgrown and neglected area is slowly being transformed into a renewed wetland, creating a valuable space for birds, insects and other wildlife.

It takes careful planning, specialist equipment and plenty of groundwork to restore a natural habitat, but seeing the shape of the pond begin to emerge makes it all worthwhile.

Specialist Tree Removal with a Sustainable Outcome

For this project at Princes Park Manor, the Brookmans Park Tree Surgery team safely removed a dead willow that had become unstable due to decay at the base and signs of Ganoderma fungal infection.

Using a crane, the tree was dismantled in controlled sections to ensure the safety of the surrounding area. Once removed, the timber was sent for recycling, giving it a new purpose by helping generate renewable energy.
