EXCITING OPPORTUNITY ALERT 🚨

Tate St Ives and UWE Bristol are offering a fully funded Collaborative Doctoral Studentship, starting in October 2026.

This practice-based project explores contemporary socially engaged art, focusing on place-based, people-centred approaches within museums and galleries. Jointly supervised by teams at both institutions, the successful candidate will be part of vibrant research communities at Tate St Ives and UWE Bristol, with access to specialist training and the wider UK CDP network. The research will examine how socially engaged practices connect local communities to cultural organisations within a global context, with the practical element shaped collaboratively over the course of the project.
