🇬🇧 Celebrating National Family Business Day 🇬🇧
💚Today is a chance to celebrate something that sits at the heart of A T Bone & Sons – family. Back in 1957, Alan and Audrey Bone started the business as a traditional livestock farm with just a few acres of land.
🧑🧑🧒🧒Nearly 70 years later, the family business is now in its third generation. Alan and Audrey were followed by their sons, Daniel and Russell, and today Becky, Ellen, Thomas and Ollie are the third generation working within the business.
🌱Over the years, ATB has grown and diversified considerably. Farming is still at the heart of what we do, but today the business also covers civil engineering, sports solutions, haulage and estates.
🐑A lot has changed since 1957, but the family behind it hasn’t. Each generation has brought something different to the business while building on what the generation before them started.
🫂The family story at ATB goes far beyond our own family. Across the business, we are fortunate to have multiple generations from a number of families working alongside us. It is something we are incredibly proud of and a reminder that being a family business is about more than a surname – it is about creating a place where people can build long-term careers and become part of the ATB story.
😊We are proud of where ATB began, how far it has come and, most importantly, that nearly 70 years later, it is still very much a family business.
