Site meeting with one of our lead engineers, Ronnie, talking through the upcoming stages of this fantastic project and getting into the details of what we’re delivering.

This one has the full works:

🔥 2 x Air Source Heat Pumps
❄️ Full chilled-water cooling, provided by the heat pumps and distributed throughout via fan coil units
🌡️ Full underfloor heating across the ground and first floors
☀️ GSE in-roof Solar PV already installed
🔋 Full Sigenergy battery & inverter system still to come

We’re looking for a Full-Time Heating Engineer to join the growing team at Herts Renewables.

This is an exciting opportunity to work across high-quality heating and renewable energy projects, including:

🔥 Heating System Installations
♨️ Air Source Heat Pumps
🔧 Servicing, Fault Finding & Repairs
🏡 High-End Residential Projects
📐 System Design & Planning

We’re looking for an experienced heating engineer with a minimum of 5 years’ experience. Gas Safe registration is favourable but not essential, and experience with heat pumps and high-end residential work would be a big advantage.

📍 Hertfordshire Based

When the power of renewables beats solid fuels… the world knows peace. 🌍⚡️

🥵 40°C outside. ❄️ 21°C inside.

While this property is experiencing temperatures of over 40°C in direct sunlight, this Vaillant aroTHERM Plus air source heat pump is keeping the home comfortably cool using fan coil units operating in cooling mode.

📊 Today’s figures:
✅ 21°C indoor temperature
✅ 7.4 kWh used for cooling
✅ Cooling COP of 4.35

That means for every 1 kWh of electricity consumed, the system is delivering 4.35 kWh of cooling into the property.
