Mulching around the base of a newly planted hedgerow

When left in a thick layer around the base of newly planted trees the Woodchip mulch will help the new trees with competition with grass of nutrients and water and all in a no chemical method! This added retention of moisture really has helped newly planted trees especially with the dry springtimes that we have had the last few years.
