What a hot one today!
Especially doing this job,

A regular customer of ours purchased a new property, in which wanted spotlights throughout upstairs, in all bedrooms & the hallway.

With a lovley chrome finish to these spot lights, with changeable wattages, & colour settings.

All pendants removed, & maintenance free junction boxes installed to supply the new spots.

A nice little outside job carried out today in the sun ☀️

A regular customer wanted some outside lighting installed, suttle.. but bright enough for them to see when they arrive home late in the evening.

The customer chose the lights they like and we installed them, using a photocell sensor to control these lights, also wired back to an overuse switch so if they aren’t home that evening, they can ensure the lights won’t stay on when they don’t need to be!

Fuseboard relocation and upgrade today.

This customer recently baught their new home, with very dated electrics & an ancient fuseboard!

After an EICR was carried out on the property, although a rewire was recommended, the wiring there existing was in a safe manner which didn’t require a rewire.

We had to relocate the fuseboard which was in the meter box,
- upgraded 18th edition board with surge protection and RCBOs
- new mains tails

We have a lot more work to do at this property , including upgraded kitchen, bathroom & an addition of mains powered smoke alarms, all in which today we got the supplies ready in for these future works. Also an additional earth rod, although the TT reading was very good, we were unable to locate the spike, so an additional/ accessible new rod to be installed next time

2 nice little upgrades though in this customers property.

An upgraded Fuseboard today in Talybont, replacing the old non compliant board for a new 18th edition board with Surge Protection.

New board
New Tails

Fully tested upon completion.
Certificate issued.

& whilst on site, a timeclock for the immersion heater was also installed.
