A fantastic project for the BeSecure team as we reach completion of the security, fire and technology systems new building in Hereford.

🔥 Fire alarm upgrade & system repairs

Back with an existing BeSecure customer this week carrying out an upgrade to their fire alarm control panel, along with investigation and repairs to the existing fire alarm system.

Rather than simply replacing equipment, our engineers carried out testing of the existing field wiring and circuits before installing, commissioning and testing the replacement panel.

Keeping existing systems properly maintained — and upgrading equipment where required — can help extend their working life while ensuring they continue to provide the protection the premises needs.

🔥 Latest wireless fire alarm technology

Another new system installed this week by James & Dom, using the latest Ajax wireless fire alarm technology.

The system provides modern fire detection alongside mobile app connectivity and fully monitored alarm alerts, giving the customer greater visibility and reassurance wherever they are.

Wireless technology can also be a great solution where running new cabling would be difficult, disruptive or simply unnecessary.

📹 CCTV that does more than just record.

James and Corey have been out at a commercial site installing TIOC active deterrent CCTV cameras, providing a more proactive approach to site security.

Modern CCTV can now help detect, deter and notify — identifying people and vehicles while using built-in warning lights and audible alerts to discourage unwanted activity before it becomes a bigger problem.

For commercial premises, yards and vulnerable external areas, it’s a big step forward from simply reviewing footage after an incident has happened.

A look behind the scenes at security technology and distribution 🔐📹

We recently had the opportunity to visit the EET / distribution and innovation centre, getting a closer look behind the scenes at the technology, facilities and infrastructure supporting the security industry.

From the scale of the warehouse and distribution operation through to the latest CCTV and security technology including , plus latest fire innovations by it was great to see just how much goes on behind the products our engineers work with every day.

For us at BeSecure, keeping close relationships with our suppliers and manufacturers is an important part of what we do. It gives us access to new technology, technical expertise and ongoing training — ultimately helping us provide better solutions and support for our customers.

🔐🔥 Another major local site now protected and maintained by BeSecure

We’re delighted to have recently taken over the ongoing maintenance of the fire alarm, CCTV, intruder alarm, access control, emergency lighting and disabled toilet alarm systems at Shell Store Hereford in Hereford.

Our engineers have been on site carrying out the initial takeover inspections, testing the existing systems and getting everything documented and brought under our ongoing maintenance programme. Monitoring and response 24hrs.

For us, this is exactly what BeSecure is about — giving businesses one trusted local company to look after multiple fire and security systems, rather than dealing with several different contractors.
