Earlier this week, we supplied these 9 metre attic trusses to Clardon House, a palatial Georgian home in desperate need of a new roof. The previous one was well past its prime and pushing the walls out, so attic trusses, which transfer the load vertically, were the ideal solution to prevent this happening again. Whilst we were designing the roof, 3 dormers were added along with 4 rooflight openings, providing far more light than the previous structure.

A nice day of local deliveries for Darius & Vinnie the other morning, with one lorry going on a tour of Herefordshire & Shropshire with some attic trusses and Posi-Joists, and the other popping over to Worcester with more Posi-Joists. Looks like they still had an early start though!

If you're more of a traditionalist and would prefer to speak to someone in person about a roof truss or posi-joist design, we're always happy for you to visit us at our HQ in Hereford. This factory was custom made a few years ago and is full of all the latest and greatest in timber engineering machinery. Just pop in any time from 8am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday.

Trusses designed, manufactured and delivered to this home Forest of Dean that's having a full renovation, including an entirely new roof and floor. We supplied the Posi-Joists for the floor back in June, and looks like plenty of progress has been made since then.
