He loved every minute and has raised over £1,300 so far for Andys Man Club

We remember the state the garden was in after the flooding, so it's great to hear how happy you are with how it's turned out. Small gardens can be tricky to get right but that's what makes them fun to design, glad we got the chance to put our own stamp on it with the patio, path and stone. 😃

Other side of the garden’s now all fenced, you can get a feel for the slope in these photos.

In other Herefordshire news… we’ve noticed the swifts have left us, which could be a sign the weather’s on the turn, so it’s great timing we’ve got this fence up.

Good to see the grass back green though, was much needed!

The ground level was sitting high against the house, so the area was dug out and a new retaining wall built to hold ever...

The ground level was sitting high against the house, so the area was dug out and a new retaining wall built to hold everything back.

Finished in brick to match the property, with gravel laid between the wall and the house to keep the area clean and allow water to drain away properly.

Amazing how much earth comes out of an area like this!

Closeboard fencing now installed along the boundary and it's starting to look much better already now that the old rotten one has been replaced. 👌🏼

The fence has been stepped down to follow the changing levels of the garden, with concrete posts and gravel boards keeping everything solid and the timber off the ground.

Voila, all done in Bobblestock!

Look how much that has opened up this small space. What looked like an impossible task at the start is now a proper usable space that’ll last for years to come.

Porcelain patio, with the same slabs carried through the gravel to create a pathway into the bike shed.

Small gardens are a job we always enjoy at Avenue, you'll see we've completed a few over the past 12 months.

When you've got a big space to play with you can afford to be a bit more relaxed with it but in a small garden there's far less room for error and getting the design to work is a task in itself!

Porcelain patio and gravel going down here in Bobblestock. Looking forward to showing you how it turns out. 👌🏼
