Welcome to the H Street Renovation Project.
This is the story of a house that has suffered years of neglect and abuse but is going to be transformed. WARNING, the 'before' pictures, are pretty hideous!

This sorry place, a 3 bed, redbrick terraced house was in a state of total disrepair when we found it. It needs a complete overhaul: floors, walls, rewiring, replumbing, roof, cellar and no doubt a few other unexpected challenges.

We'll tell the story of the transformation as we go along - keep an eye out for 'The H Street Renovation Project' logo on our posts.

It's sure to get worse before it gets better...

Wetroom conversion. This small, country bathroom was converted to a wetroom by us, with plumbing work completed by JAG Plumbing and Heating. The bathroom was stripped back to the brick, lined and a new frame added to house the pipework. All plastering and tiling was completed by us - cutting the flagstones to fit the shower tray former was no small challenge but we're really satisfied with the result. The client had asked for the shower controls to be fitted so that she didn't get wet when turning on the shower and for the heated towel rail to be within the enclosure to maximise space and warmth. The toilet cistern is hidden behind tongue and groove panelling with a lift off storage shelf for easy maintenance. Lighting is a series of spotlights in the eaves plus a skylight and underfloor heating completes the room. Tiles are from Topps Tiles and the tongue and groove is painted in Hardwick White by Farrow & Ball
