18 years old… running a 100-ton rigid dumper in the Gypsum Quarry at Newark. 💪🏼

Looking back at this photo brings back some memories. At 18, while most lads my age were still figuring out what they wanted to do, I was working in a quarry operating machinery like this.

It was a tough environment, long days and plenty of responsibility. You had to grow up fast in there.

But I wouldn’t change it. Those years taught me the value of hard work, responsibility and getting stuck in — lessons that have stayed with me ever since and helped shape the person and businessman I am today.

7 YEARS AGO… WHERE IT ALL STARTED! 💛🖤

This was the very first van for the business — and believe it or not, I won it for just £10 on a raffle! 😳

At the time, I could never have imagined where that £10 ticket and this little van would eventually take us.

No big fleet. No fancy setup. Just a van, a lot of determination and a willingness to work hard and build something from the ground up.

7 years later, the business has grown beyond anything I could have imagined back then. Plenty of long days, early mornings, late nights, risks, setbacks and lessons along the way — but I wouldn’t change the journey.

Everyone starts somewhere… this was our somewhere. ❤️

From a £10 raffle van to where we are today. 🚜🚛

Thank you to every customer, employee, supplier, friend and family member who has supported us along the way.
