Amazing what you can complete with the right equipment. 18 x 10m Conifers felled, processed through our chipper and stumps removed all by 1pm. These were protected trees but due to poor conditions the order was lifted. Removal completed so the landscaping and new planting scheme can commence.

An Ash tree with a view this week. On Tuesday we were tasked to take down this huge Ash tree due to a huge lean over the garden casting nothing but shade. Absolutely terrible access, over multiple sheds and fences plus a 35C heatwave. What a killer. The team did excellent and a very happy customer at the end

Ash felling today in . Unfortunately Ash die back had hit these hard resulting in lots of large standing dead trees. Nice big fire along with expert felling made today a good day

It was a real privilege to work on this beautiful old Tulip tree at the village garden for Kingslangley Parish council today. This tree is likely a few hundred years old and hopefully today’s work has extended its life. We drill tested the tree and concluded we needed to remove some weight out of the over extended stems to reduce the stress on the tree. The tree has so much history attached and you can see the evidence from very old bracing we found embedded in the tree

Day 2 of the Beech removal. All wrapped up by 12 o’clock and on to the next job. We dropped a lot of the timber to local residents for log wood and delivered some lovely woodchip to Bridgewater Primary School for their new Sen garden

A beautiful day for it today. This Hornbeam had lots of decay in the upper crown and after applying for permission, due to a tree protection order, we reduced the crown by 2m and removed the lower branches. Hornbeams are strong native trees so should respond well to this type of pruning
