A real fiddly one today removing this large dead Sorbus. This was over the property with little to no drop zone meaning everything had to be lowered on ropes. Always fun when the timber has no structure left in it. All down safe and sound and on to the next one

Around 5-6 years ago this Poplar was pollarded by a different contractor. Pollarding is a technique used to remove large sections of the stem to leave a skeleton. This should really be done from a young age to avoid damage . Due to the pollarding of this tree rot had set into the main stem and resulted in large branch failures. We recommended a heavy reduction to try to keep some canopy and keep a nice appearance

This old Beech tree was sitting around 25m in height and over 2m wide at the base. Unfortunately the stem was completely hollow so the options were removal or a heavy reduction. Due to the location we decided on a reduction to try and give the tree another few years of life.

Amazing what you can complete with the right equipment. 18 x 10m Conifers felled, processed through our chipper and stumps removed all by 1pm. These were protected trees but due to poor conditions the order was lifted. Removal completed so the landscaping and new planting scheme can commence.

An Ash tree with a view this week. On Tuesday we were tasked to take down this huge Ash tree due to a huge lean over the garden casting nothing but shade. Absolutely terrible access, over multiple sheds and fences plus a 35C heatwave. What a killer. The team did excellent and a very happy customer at the end
