Replacement of a polycarbonate roof which was far too hot in the summer and far too cold in the winter!

Insulation fitted in between the existing rafters, decking boards on top with breathable felt, lightweight slates (fitted with maximum headlap to account for the low pitch) and new flashings all round.

Inside plasterboard was fitted and 2 coats of plaster applied with a smooth, almost mirror like finish. (Thanks to James Doyle, master of the trowel!)

Now it’s a usable space all year round.
