NEW PROJECT UNDERWAY!

We’re excited to be at the very start of an exceptional new luxury residential project.

Working once again alongside Knights Developments, with Samantha Bartlett leading the interior design, we’re proud to be involved in what promises to be a truly standout transformation.

Set within a stunning 15,000 sq ft property, this home is set to become something extraordinary, featuring a private indoor swimming pool, massage and reformer studio, sauna and steam room, alongside a series of beautifully designed living spaces throughout.

The site may be a long way from the finished vision right now, but that’s the beauty of projects like this. Behind the scenes, the plans are exceptional, every detail is being carefully considered, and the end result is set to be something very special.

From the earliest stages through to completion, Metelec Services will be bringing our expertise in high-end electrical solutions to help bring this remarkable property to life.

Delivering excellence in the heart of the capital...

Metelec Services was proud to work in a joint venture with Aventa Design, on behalf of main contractor McFeggan Brown, delivering electrical services to the 8th floor at 199 Bishopsgate - a truly prestigious commercial space in one of London’s most prominent locations.

As the electrical designer, Aventa Design played a key role in shaping the technical strategy for the space.

Their design required precision in delivery, with every element needing to align with the project vision of the client.

Set within the City’s iconic business district, the project demanded a coordinated and detail-driven approach throughout. From core electrical infrastructure through to the finer finishing elements, Metelec carried out the installation in line with Aventa's design to the highest standards.

Working collaboratively with Aventa Design and McFeggan Brown, this project highlights Metelec’s ability to deliver within premium commercial developments.

Another standout project in a location that speaks for itself.

Following a series of successful installations across the country, our specialist expertise in padel infrastructure is continuing to gain recognition across the sport and leisure sector.

We are pleased to be working with Village Hotels as the rollout of new padel facilities gathers pace.

With padel continuing its rapid growth across the UK, leading health clubs and recreation providers are investing in high-quality courts and supporting environments to meet demand.

Metelec is supporting this expansion with specialist electrical and mechanical provisions that ensure facilities perform to the highest standards.

As the year draws to a close, we’d like to say a huge thank you to our suppliers, partners, clients and friends, and to everyone who has followed and supported the Metelec journey throughout the year.

Your trust and support have helped make 2025 an exciting and rewarding year - from nationwide padel court projects to a wide range of commercial, residential and leisure developments.

We’re already looking ahead to 2026, with the padel rollout continuing alongside several other exciting projects we can’t wait to share.

Another Landmark Padel Project Delivered… This Time in Manchester

Metelec Services has completed a full mechanical and electrical upgrade to support the installation of five new indoor padel courts at a well-known Manchester health club - another key milestone in the nationwide rollout.

This transformation included:

> 120 metres of high-level Elbagate E-Line 6pole 25A busbar to power the new padel lighting

> New mains distribution and LV circuits tailored to the revised layout

> High-level BEG PD4 PIR controls across all five courts for smart, energy-saving lighting control

> Installation of 48 × 120W Netherton LED high-bay sports luminaires, designed specifically for padel and tennis

> Lighting levels designed and installed in accordance with LTA guidance

> Full decommissioning of the existing high-level industrial heating system, including heater removal and redundant pipework strip-out

From lighting design and distribution to energy efficiency and clearance of old systems, this project showcases the depth of expertise required for high-performance indoor sports environments.

THROWBACK THURSDAY! ⚡

Today, we're delving into our archive and revisiting a project we delivered in Norwich, transforming outdoor tennis courts at one of the UK's most well-known health clubs.

The project included LED upgrades of all outdoor court lighting, improving energy efficiency and providing long-term cost savings.

Three separate court areas received the Metelec treatment, resulting in a 40% decrease in CO2 emissions and a 50% decrease in electrical consumption - all whilst aligning with the LTA recommended guidance for outdoor tennis court lighting.

Metelec Services recently delivered a truly distinctive project for Make Believe Ideas, a renowned children’s book publisher known for inspiring creativity through fun, interactive titles.

The task? To reimagine a part-listed property into a vibrant new headquarters that captures both the heritage of the building and the forward-thinking spirit of the brand.

Our in-house design and installation team managed every stage of the transformation, from the electrical supply and distribution that also supports neighbouring high street shops, to lighting, data, and mechanical systems that keep the space efficient and comfortable.

It was a project that blended sensitivity to history with a bold, modern vision - the perfect setting for a company dedicated to sparking imagination.
