Tomorrow morning at 6am, I’ll be taking on the Alzheimer’s Society Trek26 along the beautiful Jurassic Coast – a challenging 26-mile walk to help raise money for an incredible cause.

The weather isn’t looking too kind either, with heavy rain and winds of up to 45mph forecast, but we’re determined to power through and keep putting one foot in front of the other for everyone affected by Alzheimer’s and dementia.

As many of you know, at Twine Carpenter & Joinery, community means a lot to us, and this is something I’m proud to support. It will be a tough day, but every mile will be worth it if we can help raise awareness and support this fantastic charity.

Another project completed ✔️

We recently carried out the installation of 4 sets of commercial doors for a local school, upgrading their access points with durable, secure, and low-maintenance solutions.

Full kitchen transformation completed 🔥

We removed the old, dated kitchen and completely reworked the space to create a clean, modern finish. The new handleless kitchen gives a sleek, seamless look, paired perfectly with stainless steel splashbacks for a sharp, contemporary edge.

The floor has been upgraded with LVT click flooring, adding both durability and style throughout the room.

We also overhauled the ceiling to install new LED spotlights, then reboarded and fully plastered the entire kitchen for a flawless finish. New skirting and architrave were fitted to tie everything together.

Big thanks to for finishing it off with a full repaint — bringing the whole space to life.

Great to have the next generation of Twine Carpentry on site for the day — never too early to start learning the trade and picking up new skills 👷‍♂️

Base rail and handrail now fitted, brackets installed, templates made, everything measured up, and glass officially ordered 👌

Another full transformation by Twine Carpentry and Joinery Ltd 👌

We completely stripped out the old kitchen, removed ceilings and wall coverings, and gave the space a clean, modern reset with fully plastered walls and ceilings.

Alongside a full electrical update, we also replaced the old mains stopcock and removed a single radiator, making room to install a tall 300mm double column radiator — opening up wall space for extra kitchen units and improving both functionality and layout.

We then installed this stylish two-tone J-handle kitchen from , finished with 12mm compact laminate worktops — machined and fitted in-house — and matching upstands for a clean, seamless look.

To complete the transformation, we laid a beautiful Brampton Chase herringbone floor in the ‘Pebble Shore’ colour, tying the space together with warmth and texture.
