Lovely couple of days restoring & rendering this chimney in Porthleven this week💪😁

I was reached out a couple months back by the client and asked if I could sort this chimney out. Due to the render literally falling off the chimney, which not only can damage the roof can cause leaks.

The old render was removed, render grip & new plastic beads, a scratch coat and a top finishing coat. Floated & sponged 🧽

All looking brand new! Can’t wait to see this painted 🎨

Cracking couple of days re-rendering this conservatory for a wonderful couple in Helston 🏠

The previous render had some poorly finished areas, showing cracks and was prepped with galvanised beads which eventually started show rust, which was an issue. ❌

The original render stripped off, prepped properly with SBR, Priming agents & new PVC Plastic beads. Followed by a scratch coat & a top finishing coat of cement & lime render ✅

An joy to sort this out for the customer as well as 2 great days in the sun 🌞

A cracking few days sorting out & making good these garden / outside walls for a wonderful client in the village. Funnily enough these walls have been block work & untouched for over 10 years so it’s nice for them to be covered up and left with a smooth and flat finish🙌

Cracking few days restoring & skimming these bay windows / window reveals in Breage 🏠

The walls had been removed by the previous builders due to very damp surfaces, since been tanked and ready to be restored 💪

Plenty of prep work to get these walls to match the style of the cottage, it’s always difficult as a plasterer who wants to skim straight and provide a flat finish but when asked to match the “Cornish curves” we persevered & it genuinely came out lovely🙌

This almost had me throwing my trowels at the floor skimming above the dado rails & tight spaces 😆 but we powered through and got it looking lovely!🙌

An absolute pleasure getting this property over at Bonython Estate in Cury completed skimmed from top to bottom💪

Some awkward areas, small cupboard spaces & massive wooden beams to work over & around 😆 but powered through and got this complete in just a couple of weeks.

A returning customer of mine asked if I could skim this upstairs landing ceiling. We were here back in late February to skim the majority of the property. But sadly didn’t have enough time to get this done during the time frame.

Back a couple months later to finish it off. Night & day difference and in this heat, I’m sure this can get painted in just a couple of days!🥵

Out with the old, in with the new 💪

A freshly over-rendered patio wall completed in Helston today 🏠 a struggle with the heat today but we powered through & got this wall looking brand new.

Due to salts & poor render mix, this wall had been showing a lot of cracks & rust from internal wires. It’s been prepped with rendered grip, a stabilising solution & a thin coat of sand, cement & lime render ✅.

Now looking smooth, flat & smart with no cracks to come ever again!
