Something a little bit different today. Had the pleasure of Ryan & Warren from R&T Stoves install a new woodburner in our new home! 🔥 🏠

The original fireplace was outdated & 100% needed work and a new look! So I took it upon myself to remove the old fire, knockout the internals, board it & plaster the front face ready for them😁

The lads came by today as the fireplace was ready to have the stove installed & put a new Warrior Pano Large woodburner in along with new slate hearths & a new cement based oak beam to finish it all off.

Absolutely spot on & Arnie can’t get enough of it too! 🐶 🐾

Lovely little this morning job completed over in Penzance 🏠

This job was a reach out from a local plumber doing the renovations of this bathroom suite. A majority of the walls will be panel boarded / tiled. So I was asked to make good of the plasterboard walls & ceiling. Which I was happy to sort out for them 🙌

All looking flat & smooth👌 Slight curve finish for the vaulted ceiling too - never a dull day skimming Cornish properties as the old ones are never straight 😅

Pleasure getting it sorted & the plumber can now crack on getting this bathroom looking brand new!

Another job done & another satisfied customer ✅

To us tradies these small jobs are pretty straightforward to us, but to clients it can be irritating or an inconvenience for them when not carried out.

Damp Removal / Patch Up job completed in Penryn today 🏠 💪

As you can see in the photos, the areas in this front porch needed hacking off. The galvanised beads had rusted away, the old walls were blown due to a leak caused previously as well as the old ceiling growing mold.

Now removed, a tanking solution applied, backing plaster, new plastic beads so no more rust, moisture board screwed into the ceiling & a fresh skim. 💪

All looking smooth, flat, polished and no more damp! 🤝 another satisfied customer ✅

Tidy little job completed yesterday for a wonderful couple in Helston 🏠 🙌

The clients had taken the the dividing wall to make 2 small bedrooms into 1 bigger bedroom. They reached out and asked if I could rectify / make good of the cavities, the stud frame work and overskim the Artex ceiling as well as patching up the coving & skirting boards to fit.

A bit of a fiddly job but powered through to get it done and very happy with the result💪

Chimney Render complete in Porthleven today 💪🏠

It’s always a pleasure coming back to a returning customer to carry out additional work for them. This was one of their last requests as they’re almost complete with the renovation 🛠️

Hacking off the damaged flaunching and old chimney pot, replaced with a new concrete slab and terracotta pot. Followed by renderers grip, a scratch coat & a top finishing coat of sand & cement render and new flaunching🙌

Looking like a completely new chimney 😁 another job done & another satisfied customer ✅
