A poplar repolarding job.
These poplar where in need of a hair cut trees that have been pollarded in the past need maintenance to stop the regrowth getting to big. Regrowth attachment is weak and if left to get too big can snap out in high wind. Once repolarded the tree will put put new growth out so continuing the cycle of maintenance. The trees where quite tall but gave lovely views over bewl water.

Removal of an large ash tree

Something a bit different with this job. A car had been abandoned underneath the tree and needed to be moved out the drop zone. The chipper easyly moved it out the way. The tree was removed as was causing the Yew underneath to grow unevenly and was also shedding branches on the summer house below. We used rigging to control the movement of the branches away from the summer house. Having the tracked chipper ment their was no long drag for the ground crew which made them happy and the customer kept the chip which is ideal for putting on the flower beds.

A job to reduce two oak trees and remove ivy allowing more light into the property's the tree on the left was reduced as it showed signs of die back. Reducing the tree will reduce the stress on the tree and improve its health. The tree on the right had the ivy removed and a tidy up of the branchs the customer wanted to keep the Shape of the tree as it was healthy and once the Ivy was removed was letting light through. It was evident when climbing both tree had been hit badly in the 87 storm.

The start of a job to fell trees before a new farm fence is installed. The trees where also blocking the view of the valley the trees had been pollarded long in the past. The stumps have been left as coppice stools and will generate new growth in the future

Conifer topping and siding. This conifer hedge had grown out blocking an access path it was also blocking the light in the garden. It was decided to drastically take it back and the customer was told it may not survive and they were happy to take the risk. So far it is coping well conifers produce large amount of chip but this is easily handled with our 10inch chipper and tractor and trailer.
