Carousel Craft Carousel Craft Group Carousel Craft is based at:

Stepping Stones Day Care and Community Centre, Ilkeston Road, Heanor Derbyshire. Trips to the Coast.

(In the Lounge)

(The Group is Independent of & not affiliated to Stepping Stones)

Tuesday 7pm till 9pm and Wednesday 10.30am till 1pm. Yearly Subscription £10 with a session fee of £3.00
The Group is open to anyone above the age of 18. Our members bring along their own Craft Projects but we do have various craft materials available for members' use. We all have different Craft skills and every

other month one member will demo their chosen craft. members are encouraged to participate and usually ask when the next demo will be held. Some of our Member's have demonstrated Paint Fusion - everyone really enjoyed taking part. Encaustic Art, Computer craft, Silk Painting etc....
Occasionally we have demonstrators come in. We have had 'Stampin Up' , Jewellery making, Weaving and One Stroke Painting, just to name a few. The Group has meals out, a yearly trip - 2011 trip was to Preston - Hunkydory. Also a Christmas Party.

Afternoon guys, just an update to say Craft is closed next week on the
[Tuesday 26th and Wednesday 27th May]. Whitsun Half term week.

We'll reopen on
Tuesday 2nd at 7pm till 9pm and Wednesday 3rd June 10.30am till 1pm.
We look forward to seeing you there. In the meantime, have a fabulous Bank holiday weekend. I feel a bbq coming on! Have fun in the Sun 🌞 ☀️ (yippee) safely 😊

A lovely, if a little later than planned, Christmas outing to Denby Lodge last evening to celebrate 2025.... Not a Christmas dinner had, but a lovely meal together nonetheless! Lots of chatter, laughter and song .... Happy Birthday to a lady on the next table, which she enjoyed. We had a lovely evening 🎉✨️

Good morning all. We do hope everyone enjoyed Christmas (if you celebrated) and had a brilliant New Year.... Happy New Year to you, too!

So, January 2026

We reopen on -

Tuesday 13th at 7pm till 9pm
Wednesday 14th at 10.30am till 1pm.

If you're thinking of paying us a visit on either of those days we would advise popping along the following week on the 20th or 21st of January. Same time. We just need a week to settle back in. You'll be most welcome. Come for a mug (no short measures here!) of tea or coffee and a chat. We look forward to seeing you 😊

We all would like to wish all of our followers a very Merry Christmas and we wish you all good health and happiness for the coming year 2026. No matter how you celebrate take care of yourselves and each other.
