🚨 NEW CYCLE TO WORK SCHEME 🚨

Apparently the government has brought in a new cycle-to-work scheme for all tradesmen… so Holt Roofing Ltd are getting ahead of the game. 🚴‍♂️🔨😂

Van’s staying at the yard, tools are loaded up and we’re doing our bit for the environment.

Only slight issue is the lads might be a bit late… especially when there’s 2,000 tiles to tow behind us. 😂

Don’t worry, we’re still charging for fuel. 😂

🏠🔨 Another full roof transformation completed in Smalley, Derbyshire!

This property has had the full works, with the main pitched roof completely renewed using Double Roman roof tiles, giving it a fresh, modern finish and a solid roof built to last.

Alongside the tiled roof, we’ve installed a brand-new VELUX roof window, bringing plenty of natural light into the property and finished with the correct flashing kit for a neat, watertight installation.

The large flat roof section has also been completely renewed and upgraded to a warm roof system, finished with EPDM rubber roofing for a durable, low-maintenance and long-lasting finish.

We’ve finished the pitched roof off with a dry ridge system, giving the ridge a secure, ventilated finish without relying on traditional mortar.

A great project bringing together pitched roofing, warm flat roofing and VELUX installation, all completed by our team from start to finish. 👌

🏠 ANOTHER ROOF TRANSFORMATION COMPLETE! 🏠

This one means a little more to us than most.

The elderly lady living at this property had previously paid so-called “roofers” to carry out work, only to be left with an absolute mess. 😡

After seeing the condition they had left the roof in, we decided to step in and complete the roof completely labour-free for her. ❤️

We stripped the roof back, put everything right and installed a brand-new roof using large concrete tiles, giving the property a proper, watertight and long-lasting roof.

The last photo shows the condition we found it in — a real mess and certainly not the standard anyone should be left with after paying for roofing work.

We’re proud to have been able to help and make sure she now has a roof she can have confidence in. 💪

No shortcuts. No excuses. Just a proper job done right.
