Project Update | Patio & Groundworks

Creating a seamless connection between the home and garden.

The patio groundwork is taking shape, with the paving now beginning to lead out from the bi-fold doors and into the garden. Designed to extend the living space outdoors, this area will provide a natural transition between the interior and exterior of the property.

A great deal of progress is taking place outside, with the groundwork laying the foundations for the finished space.

Soft baby pink tiles meet brushed brass finishes for a look that feels modern, warm and full of character.

A complete transformation from an underutilised conservatory to a beautifully considered single-storey extension.

Designed to give this home a greater sense of space, light and functionality, the new open-plan layout brings the kitchen and living areas together while creating a seamless connection with the garden.

Dual skylights and full-width sliding doors draw natural light deep into the space, while bespoke navy shaker cabinetry adds depth and character against crisp white finishes. At the centre, a statement marble-effect island provides both practical workspace and a natural hub for entertaining.

Dropping the structural steel over the roofline to clear the path for a double-story architectural extension.
Once these massive beams are secured, they will carry the load of the entire new second storey level.
This eliminates the need for internal columns, creating a seamless, full-length span of bi-fold doors opening directly onto the garden.

What is an oriel window?
