Our client had a specific request to create walk-in under-stairs storage cupboards and make better use of the available space. Sections of the existing structure were carefully removed and replaced with bespoke fitted units, designed and built to suit the shape of the staircase.
We also closed off an existing doorway within the kitchen area and created a new pocket-door system, reusing the existing door. The door now slides neatly into the new framework and is completely concealed within the wall when open, creating a cleaner and more practical finish.
