We’re absolutely delighted to share that George has won Tradesperson of the Year at the Sussex Business Awards 2026!

A fantastic achievement and a really proud moment for Godwins Gardens. 💚

George and Mel also had the honour of presenting the Green Award on the day, celebrating businesses making a positive difference to the environment. 🌱

While George collected the award, building a successful business takes more than one person. From the hard work out on the jobs to everything that happens behind the scenes, every part plays a role in making Godwins Gardens what it is today.

A huge thank you to everyone who works with us, supports us and helps us keep moving forward. This is something to be proud of together! 🏆💚

A lovely day representing Godwins Gardens at the Sussex Business Awards 2026! 🏆🌳

It was fantastic to be part of such a brilliant event alongside some amazing businesses.

We’re so proud of what we’re building at Godwins Gardens, and none of it would be possible without the hard work and dedication that goes into the business every day, both out on the jobs and behind the scenes. 💚

WE’RE FINALISTS! 🏆🌿

We’re absolutely thrilled to share some very exciting news…

Godwins Gardens has been shortlisted as a finalist for THREE awards at the Sussex Business Conference & Awards!

🌿 The Green Award
🛠️ Tradesperson of the Year (George Godwin)
👥 Employer of the Year

To be recognised across three completely different categories is something we’re incredibly proud of. It reflects so much of what we’ve worked hard to build at Godwins Gardens - from the way we approach sustainability and the environment, to the quality of our work and, most importantly, the team of people behind the business.

A huge thank you to everyone who took the time to nominate us and to everyone who continues to support Godwins Gardens. ❤️

We’re now looking forward to attending the awards and finding out whether we can bring one (or maybe three 👀🏆) home!

Whatever happens, being named a finalist for three awards is already a huge achievement for us - and we couldn’t be prouder.

Wish us luck! 🤞🌿

A little hedge makeover 🌿✂️

A good trim can make such a difference - tidier lines, better shape and a garden that instantly looks more cared for. 👌

Another job done and another hedge looking its best! 🌱

🌟 Meet David! 🌟

David is one of the newest members of the Godwins Gardens team, recently joining us on a part-time basis. 🌿

Although he’s only just joined us, he’s already getting stuck in and becoming a valued part of the Godwins Gardens crew! 💚

You’ll often find David taking care of those all-important finishing touches, from weeding and edging to garden tidy-ups, helping to keep our gardens looking their best. 🌱✨

We’re always excited to welcome new faces to the team, and we’re looking forward to seeing David grow into his role and become a familiar face across our gardens and grounds.

Welcome to the team, David! 👋🌿
