🌳 Another recent project completed on the island!

The client wanted to transform an unused corner of the garden into a small patio area, finished with new borders and edging.

We excavated and prepared the area before installing a sandstone patio, then relocated various shrubs and plants to create the new borders. These were finished with stone edging, membrane and bark chippings for a clean, low-maintenance finish.

While on site, we also carried out various tree reductions and shaping, helping tidy up the rest of the garden.

It's been a busy couple of weeks here at Few n Far Outdoor Solutions, especially in this heat! ☀️

We've kicked off two garden transformation projects on the island. One has a tight deadline, with the garden needing to be ready for a wedding reception next week, while the other is for a returning customer looking to create a clean, simple, and practical outdoor space.🏡

Amongst all that, we've also managed to fit in a couple of tree surgery days for our regular clients.🌳

Alice was struggling with bamboo ingress from a neighbouring property.

The invasive rhizomes had damaged the existing fence and were spreading throughout her lawn.

We carried out a full excavation of all bamboo rhizomes on her side of the boundary, installed a specialist root barrier to prevent future spread, and replaced the damaged fence.

While on site, we also removed, trimmed, and relocated several hedges and trees to help transform the garden.

We started by preparing and pouring a brand-new concrete driveway here on the Island, ready for edging and finishing touches next week.

Then it was straight onto tackling a large bamboo infestation that had spread from a neighbouring garden.

Recent project completed for a client 🌿

- The front garden originally consisted of overgrown hedging, an uneven lawn, and an old pathway running through the centre.

- We carefully removed all hedging, carrying out nesting bird checks beforehand to ensure wildlife protection.

- The space was transformed with new raised sleeper borders, conifer hedging, and a raised stepped slate pathway.

- The lawn area was then levelled using soil conditioner before fresh turf was laid, creating a clean and modern finish.
