💜 **Lavender Care Tips – Keep Your Garden Beautiful This Summer!** 💜

Lavender is one of the easiest and most rewarding plants to grow in the UK. Not only does it look and smell amazing, but it also attracts bees and butterflies while adding beautiful colour to your garden. 🐝🦋

Here are a few simple tips to keep your lavender healthy:

🌞 **Plant in full sun** – Lavender loves at least 6 hours of sunshine every day.

🌱 **Use well-drained soil** – It doesn't like sitting in wet ground, especially during winter.

💧 **Don't overwater** – Once established, lavender is very drought-tolerant and only needs watering during long dry spells.

✂️ **Prune once a year** – The best time is **late August to early September**, after flowering. Trim off the faded flowers and around one-third of the new green growth, but avoid cutting into the old woody stems.

🌸 **Feed sparingly** – Too much fertiliser encourages leaves instead of flowers.

A well-looked-after lavender plant can stay healthy and flower beautifully for many years! 💜
