This full home refurbishment was approached with one clear objective: to preserve the property’s original character while bringing every space up to a contemporary standard.

From the stained-glass entrance door and traditional staircase to the wall panelling, bespoke joinery and carefully considered finishes, the original architectural language of the home remains at the heart of the design.

As part of this full home refurbishment, the principal bedroom was carefully reworked to combine comfort, functionality and refined detailing.

Full-height fitted wardrobes provide generous storage without overwhelming the room, while the bespoke wall panelling, floating bedside units and dressing area create a cohesive, considered interior. The architectural track lighting adds definition to the ceiling and allows different areas of the room to be illuminated independently.

Every element, from the joinery and lighting to the finishes and final installation, was completed with close attention to proportion and detail by Roberts 21st Century Design.

As part of this full home refurbishment, the basement was professionally waterproofed using Delta materials, creating a dry, durable and highly functional space.

The bespoke staircase leading to the first floor was designed and crafted to complement the property’s character, bringing continuity, warmth and refined detailing throughout the home.

From essential structural work to the final finishes, every element was completed by Roberts 21st Century Design.

A complete family home transformation in South London.

This project included a full refurbishment, loft conversion, basement waterproofing, bespoke internal details, new bathrooms, upgraded living spaces and a redesigned outdoor area.

One of the biggest challenges was carrying out the works while the clients were still living in the property with their two children, which required careful planning, clear communication and well-managed sequencing throughout the project.

From the basement to the loft, the home was redesigned and delivered to work better for modern family life, with more space, better flow and a high-quality finish throughout.
