Recent boiler relocation work 🔧🔥

A couple of boiler relocations we’ve recently completed as part of ongoing home renovations.

First up in Stockton, we relocated this Main Eco Compact from a very compact bathroom into the garage, freeing up valuable space ready for the bathroom remodel. The job also included alterations to the heating system and relocation of a radiator as part of the ongoing kitchen renovation.

On the second property, the existing utility area was being demolished to make way for a new layout and French doors. We relocated the Baxi Duo-tec into the kitchen, rerouting the associated pipework through the ceiling void and beneath the floor to keep everything neatly concealed and out of the way ready for the kitchen remodel.

Sometimes keeping an existing boiler but moving it to the right location can make a huge difference when redesigning a property.

A few jobs completed recently.

🚿 This shower replacement turned out to be a little more involved than expected. Once the old enclosure was removed, we found the concealed shower valve had been leaking inside the wall for quite some time, resulting in extensive water damage behind the boards.

Everything was stripped back, rebuilt with new backing boards, finished with waterproof wall panels and fitted with a new tray, enclosure and thermostatic shower.

🔥 We also carried out a full strip-down service on this Ideal Logic boiler. The boiler was dismantled, cleaned, inspected, reassembled and tested, with combustion analysis completed to ensure it was operating safely and efficiently.

Not every job goes exactly to plan, but that’s all part of the trade. It’s about finding the problem, putting it right and leaving it knowing it’s been done properly.

🚿 Another successful plumbing job completed in Hartlepool! ✅

On this project we carried out a range of plumbing upgrades throughout the property, including:

🔧 Recent Boiler Control Upgrades Completed 🔧

We’ve recently installed a number of new boiler controls and smart heating upgrades for our customers, helping improve comfort, efficiency and control over their heating systems.

We’d also like to share some exciting news.

Over the past few months we’ve received enquiries for commercial plumbing and heating work. Unfortunately, due to insurance limitations at the time, we had to decline these opportunities.

We’re pleased to confirm that we have now upgraded our insurance cover and are fully insured to carry out work in both commercial and residential premises.

To those customers who previously contacted us regarding commercial projects, we apologise that we weren’t able to assist at the time. We appreciate your understanding and would be delighted to hear from you again should any future work arise.

🔧 Back down in Yarm over the last couple of days making great progress on this full heating system installation.

The new boiler is now in place and we’ve started fitting some of the radiators to confirm all pipework positions, centres and final layouts before moving on to the next stage of the project.

Attention to detail at this stage is crucial. Taking the time to check everything now ensures a cleaner finish, better system performance and avoids compromises later down the line.

The plant room is starting to take shape nicely, with all pipework installed neatly and serviceability considered throughout the design.

Looking forward to getting this one completed and commissioned. 👌
