Hi guys has
anyone got or used a Xhorse Condor XC-002 Pro Manually Key Cutting Machine? It's seems to suggest it can cut euro cylinder keys, mortice keys, etc in standard mode but Dimple and auto/laser cut aswell in up and down mode?? Like an all in one machine!!

Had a fun day today!! Asked to swap locks at two houses due to lost keys, only to find out from customer, their car was taken aswell!! Older couple so just thought car was gone and it's not insured as they left keys in car!! So a huge loss.. after a chat I found out its a VW ID3 electric car, so asked if they had passed the tracker details to the police!! Yuup no idea about the tracker!! After downloading an app and 3 hrs chasing two bad boys around Stockton and Thornaby.. car found just Limited damage to front window which they smashed for some reason? Happy customers car home safe.🙂

Interesting day today, after being called to change locks on an elderly customers house, found out their car had been stolen aswell, realising it was an EV and had tracking, I downloaded VW Connect for the customer then tracked there vehicle for 4 hours before eventually catching up with them in Northallerton, unfortunately they had already ditch it and left, but happy customer to get there car back with minimal damage.

Had a lucky escape today, popped a snapped key out of one of these, looking at it I couldn't work out how to open it without explosives!! Lol. Anyone ever had to open one of these?? Or are you supposed to call the number on it and wait for them to fix it!!

Classic maintenance guy had an attempt first job yesterday, top handle spindle had failed, on this particular upvc doors gearbox, the easy solution would of been to pick the lock, airbag the door slightly to gain access to the hooks and tap them in. Once inside remove handles, lock and replace gearbox. Bizarrely even after destroying the lock and door, the door was still locked?? So all I had to do was put a tool in the key hole and throw the cam, put my spindle tool in the lower spindle hole and door open..
Unfortunately the customer ended up needing a new lock, handle set and gearbox. Unfortunately the door will remain scarred for life 🙁

One very twisted and warn out key resulting in a quality 5 lever Mortice lock not opening!! Took damaged key and carefully created a replacement minus the damage.. lock working like new, and happy customer.. who can now make more keys if required.

Nice easy job yesterday, securing the back yard of a local vets.. door had dropped a bit so needed to realign bolt and nightlatch to get best performance..

Nice visit to Darlington Airport to fit a fresh fit euro mortice and thumbturn lock on an external door. Don't get many fresh installs, normally just replacing failed locks or security upgrades, but pretty happy how this one turned out.

I've Been really busy in the last few months replacing UPVC door gearboxes.
If your door is difficult to lock, with resistance turning the handle or the key then your door may be out of alignment or has dropped, if not remedied then the extra force applied can cause the gearbox within the door to fail, leaving you locked out or unable to secure your property.
A simple service and adjustment of your mechanism and hinges, can prevent this and make your door feel like new..

Fun little lock out yesterday evening, looking at picking a very secure Era Fortress 3* cylinder lock, not the easiest pick but after talking to customer found out it was a thumbturn on the inside, so out popped the letter box tools, 10 minutes and no damage later happy customer!! 🙂👍 All Secure Locksmiths
