Following a management buy out, ownership of the business has passed to Directors Fred Wyrley Birch and Alison Orgill, with Fred becoming majority shareholder. Julian Thomson remains as Chairman, ensuring continuity as we look to the future.⁠

Since joining Anderson & Garland in 2009, Alison has been instrumental in the day to day management of the company, overseeing operations, finance and its continued development. Following a recent management buy out, Alison now shares ownership of the business alongside fellow Director Fred Wyrley Birch.

Refurbished this lovely carved oak antique chest on chest for , a new top was fitted to the small chest, and we carved the flowers and wording details to match the bigger drawers.
Both have had new bases, and the drawer boxes have been re-glued and fitted.
Both of the drawer carcases have been stripped and re-glued, and back panels re-fitted
New handles to match and refreshed the finish.
Love the pose from their dog 🐕.

Gorgeous Victorian Mahogany storage chest came in for some tlc, a couple of repairs to the lid, new lining fabric (which I'm waiting for delivery), and a wax polish to give it a bit of a lift.
The tin of polish I've had for ages, a little bit of this turpentine wax goes a long long way.....unfortunately, don't seem to stock this wax anymore, which is a shame because it's definitely the best wax that I've ever used.

Club fender finished, completely stripped, new black paintwork and upholstery.

Had this bench for ages, been sat outside in the English weather for about 12 years. It was unloved and was stuck in a corner of the garden not used and forgotten about.
It was taken back to the workshop for its transformation, the cast iron legs have been cleaned, painted in Little Greene Jewelled Bettle , new bolts fitted to the hinged seat, the new timber is absolutely stunning English Pippy Oak sourced from James and Ray who have some gorgeous spalted beech in at the moment.
The oak has been finished with 3 coats of fiddes, exterior oil , and here it is finished.
Love the amazing colour on the oak, air dried for about 3 years, and some of the best timber that I've ever had from a small rural timber yard.
