PROBLEM number two with the Oak frame garage project, and it’s not the fault of the garage…. The Oak Frame Kit we’ve built looks incredible…. The problem is the roof is over 40 degrees and we’ve got to tile it…. In western Red cedar….. please hit the comments with your steep roof tiling solutions! See you there!

Which I tried on! 🤣 anyway, maybe I’ll see you down there and I’ll be making sure all you trades folk have signed up to Wickes TradePro to save a few quid!

Couldn’t help the intro! Sorry folks! Anyway….. we’re up to wall plate height on the triple oak framed garage kit project! Didn’t take long…. Aside from cutting the posts downWe didn’t have to machine anything…. It all just fits together like one giant three dimensional jigsaw puzzle! The roof is having a catslide…. Stay tuned for that!

Just started a new project and we’re having to solve problems already! 😩 turns out the fall on the concrete slab was intentional and as directed…. But we’re still expected to build a level Oak Frame Garage… so it was a case of laying big beds and little beds to suit. The laser level was our friend here! Anyway…. Stay tuned to see this garage unfold…. It’s going to be a belter! 👊🏻

Work smarter not harder! Why lift steel beams by hand when you can use a cordless chain hoist?! Go to love an innovative powertool. Even when is in site…. M18 power beats muscle power every time!
