Comedy size woodworking machines are a key make up of our power tool arsenal….. and there’s a new kid in town…. Introducing the Mafell beam planer! What a monster…. 320mm blade width! It cleaned our Oak beams up in no time! But there’s more…. You’ll have to stay tuned to see what else arrived!

Part 9 of THE BIGGEST GAZEBO I’VE EVER BUILT! It’s done! Finished! And we’ve loved every single chapter. Everything from the ground works to the oak frame, from the hand cut roof to the clay tiles. What a carpentry project. What a construction project. What a thing to be able to stand back and be able to say. ‘We built that’ on to the next one 👌🏼

NEW TOOL DAY! Unboxing the latest Milwaukee M18 table saw. I’ve had table saws before, but they lacked convenience and portability. This is light but incredibly capable. I’ve had a proper play with it off camera and like all M18 machines…. It’s a beast. Battery powered cordless table saw….. I’d of never believed it was possible a few years ago….. battery technology has moved forward exponentially recently… i wonder what’s coming next….!

Part 8 of THE BIGGEST GAZEBO I’VE EVER BUILT! We’re so close to bringing this Oak Frame project to a finish. We were joined by Will from and Brandon from .ltd both bringing construction skills with them that i don’t have! Will with his digger for the soak aways, and Brandon with his roofing skills. The carpentry side of this job is pretty much finished now. Guttering is done, roof is tiled, just the hips and the ridge to finish. A couple more days and we’re done! Stay tuned for the finished article.

Part Seven of THE BIGGEST GAZEBO EVER BUILT! We’re prepping the roof with counter battens, saggy breathable membrane, fascia boards, eaves support tray and more battens! There’s always a lot to do to get a roof ready for tiles…. But we’re there now! Nearly finished! We’ve got some more big holes to dig for two soak aways as well! So stay tuned for that 👌🏼
