A Few Words About Us

An arborist by definition is an individual trained in the science of planting, cultivation and management of individual specimens of ornamental trees. Franks Forestry comprises a team of qualified arborists specialising in the care of individual trees, and we are well equipped for the work. City and Guilds NPTC
Maintaining proper tree care is a decision that should not be taken lightly. Trees that are properly maintained and cared for can offer substantial advantages to you and your property. Attractive, well managed trees can help to add value to your property, while neglected trees can prove to be a liability. The work undertaken when carrying out proper tree maintenance, such as pruning or removing trees, in particular large trees, is skilled and potentially dangerous work and therefore should only be carried out by well equipped and qualified arborists such as Franks Forestry Contractors.

Job opportunity for climbers in North London - Hertfordshire. (£38k - £50k dependent on ability).

We are currently looking for the right person to join our team and to fill a climber position that has recently become available.

We're looking for someone who is passionate about tree care, reliable, safe, professional, hard working and wants to be a part of a great team who holds the same values.

Work includes:
Domestic and Commercial work in and around North London and Hertfordshire.
Candidates should be experienced in carrying out all aspects of tree surgery and hold the following certificates at a minimum:

NPTC Unit 201 (CS30) - Chainsaw Maintenance and
Crosscutting
NPTC Unit 202 (CS31) - Felling and Processing� Trees up to 380mm in diameter
NPTC Unit 203 (CS38) - Tree Climbing and Aerial�Rescue
NPTC Unit 204 (CS39) - Using a Chainsaw from a
Rope and Harness
NPTC Qualification (222). - Use of Wood Chippers
Full UK driving licence - preferred but not essential for the right candidate.
