Introducing the Sashment.
At first glance, it looks and operates like a traditional timber sash window. Both sashes slide vertically, just as you would expect.
But there’s a difference.
Once the sashes are closed, the complete window can also open inwards like a casement window.
This can be particularly useful where a window is required to provide emergency escape under Building Regulations, but the clear opening provided by a conventional sliding sash would not be sufficient.
Rather than changing to a standard casement window, the Sashment allows the traditional appearance and everyday operation of a sash window to be retained, while the additional inward-opening function can provide a much larger clear opening.
Two opening functions. One timber window.
Available in a choice of timbers, glazing options, colours and ironmongery.
