This was the final push on this project to get ready for plastering, I’d say we are about 50% done after that, still plenty to do but some nice plastered walls always make such a huge difference! Progress is being made! 🙌🏻

I’ve done all the studwork, plasterboarding and plumbing
has done all the electrics
Now it’s all ready for to do his thing

Next video will be some fresh plaster 😍
And I’ve taken the weekend off to get some well needed rest!

Tried to film the whole thing to cut into a single reel then got that fateful message pop up “STORAGE FULL” so deleted the long videos and made some short individual ones. So I hope someone watches it 🤣

Power Tools Made In Germany core drill and M-class vac doing its thing as always, this 78mm core bit was on a 1/2” connection, I need to get a new one with a 1.1/4” connection to utilise the dust extraction properly.

Yes, I put the ear defenders on my head forget to use them and then I went to Howdens and Screwfix with them still on my head not realising 🤣🤦🏻‍♂️

Soldering them joints was a bit tricky and I burned some of the surroundings and like an idiot partially melted the new waste pipe, it might have been fine but I couldn’t risk it so cut it out and fitted a new section. I didn’t have a coupling so used what I had, a tee with rodding eye.

That was the last bit of this stage, so now all that is all in, it can be boarded up ready for the plasterer!

Just some workflow for you guys to see what goes into jobs, these things don’t just magically appear 🤣

I’ve got a new tool! So you’ve hopefully seen the reel I posted before about the Mitre (chop) saw I bought, well I love it, the only thing was that I had to switch the vac on and off either at the wall or on the vac itself, I wanted an easier and better way!

So I spoke to to see if they made a wireless switch and they said we have something better, which was this 36v cordless M-class VAC that comes with the CORDLESS CONTROL start/stop feature! I’ll put the model number below.

I also got this cool little MetaBox with 2x 8ah CAS batteries and a fast charger, this box clicks into the top of the VAC so you can keep everything together.

Having this whole setup now, I can run it without power (assuming batteries are pre-charged) or I don’t need to drag extension leads to where ever I want to set it up.

I think it’s pretty awesome, what do you guys think?

Lastly, in my excitement I missed something which makes this all even easier, I really should read the instructions, but where’s the fun in that, I wonder if anyone can tell me what I’ve missed…

After revisiting another job where I fitted a drain off over a drain 6 years ago, I decided that I should do the same on this job too, it seemed like the right thing to do!

I know Todd Glister & GasMangod will appreciate this!

And Maria Phoenix M and R when you go back to fit the downstairs rads you will love this! 🙌🏻
