Thank you to everyone who braved the 4.30am start to join us for the dawn chorus walk..........it was worth it! The sunrise, the birds, hare, deer and even a frog turned out to perform. All this, together with our walk leader Gert's amazing knowledge made a magical morning.

A big thank you to everyone who joined us on our wildlife walks led by Gert Corfield this spring and summer raising money for the RSPB and Butterfly Conservation West Midlands. Thanks also to the rare Brown Hairstreak butterflies who turned up to give us a show! We are now looking forward to spotting their eggs on our blackthorn hedges through the winter. Moths caught on the farm by Gert Corfield, identified and carefully released last month before lockdown . A reminder that all the wildlife is very active and thriving. The moth trap's eerie light caused quite a stir in the locality, making an appearance on the neighbourhood WhatsApp !
