We are thrilled to announce that for the 2nd year running, Happy Haus has taken out a coveted Master Builders Queensland Award for the Brisbane region!
This year, Fig Tree Pocket Haus 016 has been recognised with the Individual Home award in the $1.25–$1.5 million category.
Designed to honour its rare 4,000 sqm bushland setting, Fig Tree Pocket Haus 016 is a study in subtropical restraint. The home frames the native landscape, capturing cross-breezes, and drawing in soft natural light — all while treading lightly on the environment.
Wallabies, kangaroos and echidnas all call the surrounding bushland home, and wander past as if the boundary between wild and built doesn’t exist. The architecture was asked to respond in kind. We think we did it.
This is what’s possible when your architect and builder are on the same team, and when that team includes clients who have the vision and who trust the process, trades who care about the craft, and partners who help set the benchmark for quality every day.
