Stane Street Players Stane Street Players are an amateur drama group based in Earls Colne. We're a friendly bunch so get in touch if you're interested! ✨🎭

Whether you fancy a go on- or offstage, we're open to all regardless of ability or experience. Stane Street Players are the local non professional drama group operating in the Halstead and Earls Colne area. We put on 2 or 3 shows every year including a pantomime, and perform at either Earls Colne Village Hall or the Empire Theatre in Halstead

New members are very welcome, regardless of experience, and we are always looking for people to help backstage, with set construction, lighting and sound, or front of house, as well as those who want to ‘tread the boards’

We also welcome younger people who wish to be involved with our Pantomime productions

We are a very sociable group and organise various social events throughout the year for our members, from Theatre trips to visits to local vineyards, eating out and after show events, Bonfire night parties and summer picnics.

✨🎩The Pantomime Everyone's Mad for!— Tickets On Sale!🐇✨
On Thursday Night, Stane Street Players tumbled head‑first into Wonderland for our first read through of Tom Whalley's brilliantly bonkers Pantomime – Alice in Wonderland!
With a cast of 20, a live band, a dance troupe and so many curious characters, we were worried there would be no room – thankfully nobody had to change places!
In January 2027 come and see the award‑winning Stane Street Players return to Halstead's Empire Theatre with another hilarious panto everyone’s going mad for!

If you want to join the tea party, our Box Office is now OPEN!

Don’t be Late!

Running Saturday 16th to Sunday 24th January
Evening and Matinée performances available.

Tickets: £15 (+Booking Fee)
