Today marks the start of Volunteers Week, and I'd like to say a huge THANK YOU to all the volunteers out there, whatever field you work in. ❤
My own volunteering journey from EEAST CFR, St John Ambulance First Aider to my current role of Emergency Ambulance crew, started just over 10 years ago, and it's one of the best things I've ever done. If you've thought about giving up some of your free time to help others, I would strongly urge you to DO IT. Not only will you be playing a vital role in supporting and serving your community, but it's also incredibly good for your own wellbeing and mental health. 👍
