20 years. That still feels a bit mad to say out loud.
This week, Landscapia turns 20.
What started back in 2006 as one man, a van, a lot of graft and a belief that doing things properly still mattered, has grown into something we’re incredibly proud of.
Over the last two decades, we’ve built gardens in all weathers, solved problems no one ever sees, carried more stone than we care to remember, and helped turn tired, blank or unloved spaces into gardens that people truly live in.
But the real story of Landscapia has always been the people.
Leigh, Marc’s brother, has been part of the journey for the last 18 years — building the gardens, leading from the front, and helping shape the standard of work we’re known for.
Melissa has been the backbone of the office — keeping things moving, keeping us organised, supporting clients, suppliers and the team, and somehow holding the whole circus together.
And Greg has been an absolute rock — reliable, loyal, steady, and a huge part of what Landscapia is today.
But it doesn’t stop there.
To everyone who has been part of the Landscapia team, past and present — thank you. Every designer, landscaper, installer, labourer, apprentice, office support, subcontractor and specialist who has brought skill, graft, care and pride to the business has helped shape who we are.
To our suppliers and partners, thank you for standing alongside us, keeping us moving, helping us solve problems, and supporting the standards we’ve always tried to deliver.
And to our wonderful clients — thank you for trusting us with your homes, your gardens and your dreams. It’s never lost on us that we’re invited into people’s lives to create something personal, lasting and meaningful.
Twenty years of gardens.
Twenty years of learning.
Twenty years of wet boots, early starts, big ideas, tiny details, problem-solving, laughter, pressure, pride and people putting their trust in us.
Here’s to where we started, what we’ve built, and everyone who has helped us become who we are.
