And just like that the first floor is complete, 12 days graft, Daikin system decommissioned and removed, with new LG system in its place consisting of 2 VRV condensers joined in the compound 4 x 4port BC boxes feeding 18 fan coils, fresh air duct to new locations, supply duct to suit new layout, duct work lagged, 2 Split systems for the comms rooms, all controller and R32 sensors fitted, new condense drain and site tidied and cleared, not bad going and super happy client as always.

Well that’s the final piece of this one’s puzzle complete. Daikin VRV decommissioned along with small comms split system, all ripped out and removed. Installation of LG system in its place consisting of 20 x ducted fan coils, fed from 5 x multi port BC boxes, 1 x 5kw commercial wall mounted system. All new Pipework, cabling, plenum boxes, localised controllers, centralised controller. Secondary ductwork amended to suit and lagged. That’s the ground floor ready for commissioning engineer tomorrow ready for Friday handover and then we move to the first floor and repeat the process.

So with Pipework complete and pressure test passed we started vacuuming the system ready for refrigerant to be added and first and second floor Pipework prep done for next phase. Also some pics of jobs we have been squeezing in on our busy schedule trying to keep everyone cool and happy.

So after a weeks holiday and leaving the lads carrying on with the latest project, quick progress report with a great effort from the lads last week and few days this week has seen us pipe all BC boxes, 20 fan coils, joining 2 condensers with the main run, internal Pipework for a comms room split system, all drain works from evaporators and Bc boxes and 70% of communication cables. Push for the rest of the week prepping for the duct work and phase one will be completed ready for phase 2.

Well with week one nearly done, I’d say it’s been a great week so far with the decommissioning of the ground floor AC, all new LG 3 pipe system going back in, 20 fan coils back up in the air along with 5 BC boxes, all boxes prepped and ready for piping to fan coils, main run started and one box piped up. This will be by far our biggest project to date and certainly going to have to graft to get it over the line in the time scale, but these jobs always look daunting at the start and once you get into it things come together.

Another LG Multi split system consisting of one condenser feeding a 5kw wall mount located in the lounge and 2 x 2kw wall mounts feeding the front and back bedroom. Keeping everyone cool in this heat, but also heating the house more efficiently in the winter. On a personal note, was great to hear the customers reason as to why he went with us at I and F Installations, firstly his wife noticed we removed our shoes at the front door, manors cost nothing, also the man being a retired businessman himself said we asked all the right questions and went above and beyond to make sure the installation was exactly as he wanted it and after completing today his words.
“The install is much better than I envisioned it and I’m so happy how it looks”. Gave us a little drink on top for the hard work in the loft which we was very grateful for brought us all dinner. Happy Customers equal recommendations, to which this one we have had contact from next door to survey and quote for a similar install.

Little 2.5kw wall mount installed into a small break area for a client who has supported me from the start and continues to do so, we appreciate the loyalty and long may it continue, hope the staff enjoy there breaks in controlled temperature nowadays. Followed existing Pipework to where the condensers are located.

We finish off today at an ongoing project until the final few walls, ceilings have been installed so they can be painted and for us to return and mount all the controllers on the all finish off the final few supply grilles and commission. That’s 4 x VRV’s decommissioned, 28 fan coils relocated, re-piped, new supply duct installed and lagged, fresh air duct modified to the new locations. Condense drains re-routed and new controls wiring. Pressure tests passed and new refrigerant added ready for the return.
With the hot weather coming we are expecting things to get busy, quoting, breakdowns, feel free to contact and get added to the diary first.

Along with trying to keep on top
of maintenance contracts, breakdowns, surveys and the large ongoing project we have at the minute, here’s a few installs carried out, in domestic properties, bedrooms and landing units providing heating and cooling to keep you in comfort while you sleep.
