Transport & Commercial Refrigeration - repair, servicing & maintenance. Domestic & Commercial A/C.

08/10/2026

How often should your commercial refrigeration be serviced?

As a general rule, we recommend having most commercial refrigeration equipment serviced every 6 months.

Regular servicing gives you the opportunity to catch potential issues before they turn into costly breakdowns, while helping keep your equipment running efficiently and at the right temperature.

Because when your refrigeration is essential to your business, waiting for something to go wrong isn’t really an option.

If your equipment is due a service, give the STR team a call. ❄️

Another Super Happy STR Customer! 🙌

Another domestic air conditioning installation completed, and another very happy customer enjoying the benefits of a more comfortable home all year round!

This installation presented a bit of a challenge as outside space was extremely limited. But that's where experience and good planning come in!

At STR, we don't believe that a lack of obvious space for an outdoor unit means air conditioning isn't possible. There is nearly always a solution- sometimes it just takes a little more thought, planning and technical know-how to find it. 💪

We worked with the customer to find a neat and practical solution that worked for the property, while keeping the installation as discreet as possible.

And the best part? Another super happy customer! 😁

A huge thank you for choosing STR and trusting us with your installation.

Limited space? Tricky property? Give us a challenge - we'll find a way to make it happen!

A leak might not always be obvious, but the impact on a transport refrigeration unit can be significant ❄️

That’s why regular inspections are so important. Regular checks can help to:

💧 Detect leaks before they become bigger problems
🧊 Maintain efficient refrigeration performance
⚠️ Reduce the risk of unexpected breakdowns
🍏 Help protect temperature-sensitive goods
👍 Keep your refrigeration equipment running reliably

Spotting a small issue early can make all the difference when it comes to keeping your transport refrigeration system working as it should!

Another home made more comfortable, whatever the weather. ❄️☀️

For this recent domestic installation, our team fitted air conditioning in two of the most-used areas of the home: the lounge and the bedroom. The new system will help keep both spaces cool through the warmer months and comfortably warm when temperatures drop.

From selecting the right system and planning the positioning of each unit to installation and final commissioning, every detail was carefully considered to achieve a neat, reliable finish with minimal disruption. 🤩

Another successful installation and another customer ready to enjoy year-round comfort at home.
