This recently completed en-suite shower room in Bildeston had its challenges. Despite working with a very small area, we managed to shuffle a few things around to make the most of the space available.
Once everything was stripped back, we relocated the heating pipes for a new brass towel rail with a heating element. Electric underfloor heating mat fitted to take the chill off during the winter months. Timer controls fitted for both the heating element and underfloor heating.
Supplied and fitted products include 1000x800 shower tray and waste, 1000 brass framed pivot door with fixed panel, Crosswater twin outlet brass bar mixer shower, Roper Rhodes slim-depth 500 w/c and basin units, Roper Rhodes 1000 all-in-one basin and worktop, Crosswater brass basin mixer and pop-up waste, comfort height back-to-wall pan and soft-close seat, LED illuminated mirror and the walls finished off with the Esteem Vennora Tuscan Vein shower panels and brushed brass trims.
Electrical works carried out by D.S. Electrical include a new timer for the heating element and underfloor heating mat, new light and pull-cord, new supply for the LED mirror, and a timer switch for the immersion heater.
All works carried out to the highest standards.
All waste materials removed and disposed of.
Now taking bookings from mid-September onwards.

Full bathroom refurbishment completed recently in Boxford.
The customer chose the bathroom suite, the tiles, and flooring, and the layout remained the same.

Another shower replacement due to extensive water damage.
These customers hadn't been able to use their en-suite shower for several weeks due to water leaking out that had damaged the chipboard flooring and spread across the floor void. For several reasons, this had to be one of the worst installs I've ever seen.

Once everything had been removed, the damaged flooring was cut out, and the new chipboard fitted as well as plywood over the top for added protection. Some additional support in the shower area and cement board fitted with all edges and corners sealed.
Supplied and fitted products include a 1400x900 stone resin shower tray with McAlpine chrome plated, brass waste, Esteem Carra twin outlet mixer shower, Esteem Tamcana 'Fawn Stone' shower boards, Esteem 8mm sliding door and fixed panel. For the finished floor the we had a natural oak moisture resistant laminate flooring (no wood).
All units and toilet and basin refitted with some new parts.
Allwere cleaned up and sealant applied in all of the wet areas.
Waste materials removed and disposed of by myself (waste disposal licensed).

Lovely job carried out this week in St. Osyth.
Annexe shower room stripped out. New pipework and isolation valves fitted.
Customer supplied shower tray, enclosure, and electric shower. W/C unit, concealed cistern, comfort-height pan and seat, wall-hung basin unit, and ceramic basin with mixer tap. Two walls and splashback with plywood shower panels and chrome trims. LED centre light, pull-cord, and shower isolation switch fitted. New cold water storage tank fitted in the loft, with all new lever valves, automatic air-vents, and a larger hot supply pipe to the annexe to improve flow. All pipes and tank insulated. All waste was removed from site. Shower room fully finished using high-grade sanitary silicone.

It's been a while since my last post, so I thought I'd just do a quick update on what's been happening. So far, 2026 seems to be the year for shower boards. I've had several enquiries for jobs where shower boards have been favoured over wall tiles. The advantages are that you can cover an area faster than tiling. These boards are also low maintenance and easy to keep clean. There's a wide range of colours and patterns available to suit everyone's taste. Trims are available in chrome, brushed silver, brushed brass, black, white, and colour matched to the specific board you've selected. I've been fitting these boards for several years, and they've improved so much in that time.
