A fresh look for this kitchen in Weybridge 🤍

From wood effect to Richmond shaker doors in Paintflow Matt Cream—a brighter, timeless finish that works beautifully with the existing dark worktops.

For this refurbishment, we supplied and fitted:

✅ 20 new doors and 11 drawer fronts
✅ Three new 900mm drawer boxes—one cutlery drawer and two deep pan drawers
✅ Matching panels, fillers, corner posts and plinth
✅ New bullnose cornice and a replacement flyover panel above the ovens, with spotlights reinstated
✅ Two doors to enclose the open storage at the rear of the island
✅ Soft-close hinges throughout
✅ Waste removal by a licensed waste carrier

Grey is no longer the automatic choice for every kitchen.

The 2026 UK Houzz Kitchen Trends Study found that blue is now the most popular cabinet colour among surveyed kitchen renovators, closely followed by green.

We’re also seeing these colours combined with:

• Natural wood textures
• Warm neutral shades
• Lightly veined quartz worktops
• Simple handleless or modern Shaker doors
• Softer, less clinical finishes

The trick is not simply choosing what is fashionable today. A successful combination should complement the room, suit the property and still feel right several years from now.

Before paying for a completely new kitchen, ask one important question:

Are the existing cabinets actually damaged—or do they simply look dated?

If the units are structurally sound and the layout works, replacing the doors, panels, hinges, worktops and finishing details may be the more sensible option.

We can even build off the top of your existing units to give you more space above.

A refurbishment may not be right when cabinets are badly damaged, the layout needs major alteration or extensive structural work is required. In those cases, we will say so.

Our job isn’t to force every kitchen into the same solution. It’s to establish which approach offers the best result for your particular home.

The biggest visual changes often come from the parts you see and use every day: the doors, panels, worktops, handles and finishing details.
