How to get a bespoke finish around switches and sockets without standard brush lines or cracked edges.
Most decorating issues around faceplates happen because the fittings are never backed off properly, leading to paint bleed, jagged edges, or plates sticking to the wall.
Our complete socket prep sequence:
Isolate power and slack off the faceplates or remove if possible.
Clean and degrease behind the edge.
Precision tape the edges
Fill and sand flush for a completely seamless surface.
Apply two solid coats right behind the floating edge.
Peel tape while wet and screw flush when dry for a factory-level finish.
