Just completed some remedial after an for St Hilary's Prep School in Godalming, including general repairs eg fuseboards, broken lights, cables/clipping etc. The fixed wiring testing covered 30-35 as the original school building (~1800s) has had a number of extensions and annexes added through the years, plus outbuildings.

All work is completed in accordance with the latest (18th edition) and to IET guidelines.

Nice fuse board replacement for a residential property in Banstead, ! This also included a rewire of the kitchen which had a new extension. We also fitted in the new kitchen with multiple switches feeding outside lights and the rest of the lights. Homeowner was very pleased with the job!

Our electrical engineers have just helped improve system resilience for the theatres at St Peter's in Surrey.

Over a 6-week project, we fitted 2 new 400 A LV supplies feeding newly installed Schneider Electric boards to support the theatre electrical load. The existing theatre's main LV distribution board had reached its maximum capacity.

The two new supplies have improved system resilience: providing an additional supply and reducing the risk of overloading the existing LV network.

Having celebrated last week, we'd like to highlight some of the great work our apprentices have done across the Barton Knight Group. (Some pictured below with our qualified electricians after a tool box talk).

Many of our have worked their way up to senior positions after starting as apprentices with us, and we are proud to hold *Gold* status of industry initiative *The 5% Club* - which shows 'a significant investment in training the next generation of professionals.'

We've established some fantastic long-term partnerships with local colleges including North East Surrey College of Technology Nescot College, East Surrey College, Guildford College, Farnham College, London South East Colleges and learning providers like JTL among others.

Joshua, Frankie, Luke T, Mason, Nick, Thomas, Jake and Matt (1st-near qualified) have all done great work on Barton Knight Energy and Barton Knight Electrical projects. Noah, Tommy, Justin and Louis (in their 3rd and 4th years) focus on the major, multi-phase programmes that Barton Knight Contracting Ltd specialises in.

One of our and an apprentice have been replacing a fuse board for a lovely couple in . The existing fuse board was ok to pass but the wanted to be extra safe and they were very happy with the job. Fuse box from Wilson Electrical Distributors in .
